As a part of being accountable to self, participants learned and practiced mindfulness strategies and techniques to support self-regulation and co-regulation. They even practiced a ‘chase the pain’ exercise that helps them to be more present even when they are feeling physical discomfort. Particpants said this was one of the most engaging dinner event presentations they had engaged in in quite some time. They said that it reinforced how important it is to self-manage for their own benefit and for the benefit of their teams that often have significant objectives to realize.
